Description :

A distinguished pair of mid-century culinary hardbacks, each a visual and gastronomic treasure:

  • American Culinary Art by August Forster – bound in deep blue with gold-embossed chef’s tools and flourishes, this volume celebrates the artistry and discipline of professional cooking in postwar America.
  • A Treasury of Great Recipes by Mary and Vincent Price – a copper-toned masterpiece of global cuisine, wrapped in ornate gold and black embossing. Part cookbook, part travelogue, it reflects the Prices’ passion for fine dining and theatrical flair.

Both books are hardbound with decorative covers, ideal for display or deep reading. Together, they offer a glimpse into the golden age of culinary publishing—where recipes were elevated to ritual and design met decadence.
