Calligraphy and a red artist’s seal appear in the lower right, adding authenticity and cultural context. Presented in a simple, elegant frame that complements the artwork’s gentle palette and traditional style. Measures 20.5" × 20.5". Artist ink‑stamped.

Framed Japanese winter temple scene — Woodblock Print (Artist - Eichi, Kotozuka)Serene Japanese woodblock print depicting a snow‑covered hillside temple, rendered in soft, atmospheric tones. The composition features traditional architectural details, lanterns, and layered rooftops dusted with snow, with misty mountains receding into the background. Delicate brushwork captures the quiet stillness of winter, while the muted sepia tones enhance the sense of tranquil, meditative calm. The composition features a family engaged in everyday tasks: an adult holding a small child near the doorway, another child carrying a basket, and two adults conversing beside household items such as pottery, baskets, and bundled sticks. Rendered with expressive brushwork and soft earth‑toned washes, the piece captures the rhythm of daily life with cultural authenticity and gentle storytelling.
