Description :
An impressionist-style watercolor painting Ethereal Morning: 19th Century Style Impressionist Watercolor - Foggy Landscape This evocative watercolor captures a moment of profound stillness. The artist utilizes a masterful impressionist technique to render several dark rowing boats anchored in the foreground, their forms grounded against a soft, atmospheric mist. Beyond the water, silhouetted trees emerge from the fog, creating a sense of depth and quiet mystery. Signature Note: The piece is signed by the artist, though the signature is currently tucked partially beneath the frame, adding an air of undiscovered provenance. Measures 12" x 16". "Yamhill Early Nocturn" by Clark Elster (1991) - Atmospheric Oregon Landscape Description: A stunning example of Northwest regionalism, this original pastel by Clark Elster titled "Yamhill Early Nocturn" (February 1991) transports the viewer to the rolling hillsides of Oregon’s Yamhill Valley. The composition features a lone farmhouse braced against the drama of a stormy day. Elster’s use of light and shadow perfectly captures the "nocturn" transition—where the heavy, brooding sky meets the vibrant, wind-swept greens of the valley. Measures with frame 26" x 22".
