Description :

Art Deco era openwork filigree navette-shaped bar brooch, likely dating from the 1920s to early 1930s. Hallmark14: Indicates the metal purity is 14 karat gold (which is 58.3% pure gold blended with other alloys).B: Represents the specific maker's mark for Hans Brassler, an artist and jeweler highly active during the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras.

The Setting: It features a pointed oval elongated diamond shape with fine, openwork wire filigree forming a radiating petal or sunburst motif. The white metal face is likely platinum or platinum-topped white gold, paired with the 14k yellow gold backpin mechanism we saw earlier.

The Center Stone: The center stone is a round old-cut diamond (most likely an Old European Cut or Old Mine Cut), which was standard for the era. It is held securely in a central bezel or milgrain-edged illusion box setting to make the stone stand out dynamically. Pin measures 1.5" long.

Included in this lot: The second bar pin is Edwardian/Victorian style - set openwork gold tone setting, topaz-colored glass bezel set center stone with faux pearl on either side. Pin measures 2.5" long.
