Description :

Striking trio of enamel over copper necklaces features a 20" turquoise blue modernist chain signed on its white enameled reverse and two 3" diameter hand-painted floral circle pendants.

Focal piece: Capture the bold elegance of mid-century studio art with this exceptional necklace by celebrated American enamellist Kay Denning. Dating to the 1960s/1970s, this striking modernist statement piece features a dramatic array of graduated lozenge-shaped panels that perfectly contour the neckline, beautifully culminating in a prominent, asymmetrical freeform triangular pendant drop.

Each copper-backed link showcases Denning’s masterful kiln-fired glass techniques, layered with a glossy, vibrant sky-blue and turquoise vitreous enamel. Intentionally detailed with organic dark flecks and matrix patterns, the design masterfully mimics the striking variations of natural turquoise stone. Finished with a clean, fold-over style connector clasp and pristine counter-enameling on the reverse, this highly wearable work of wearable art is a must-have addition for any serious collector of vintage mid-century jewelry.

Second Piece: Blue & Lily of the Valley Pendant: Features a deep cobalt and royal blue ombré background accented by delicate swirls of white wisps, showcasing charming sprigs of white bell-shaped Lily of the Valley flowers nestled on vibrant green leaves. Suspended on a delicate vintage metal chain.

Third Piece: Sunset & Lupine/Iris Pendant: Displays a gorgeous, blending sunset gradient that transitions from a serene sky blue to a soft, romantic pink. The lower crescent is adorned with hand-painted stalks of lavender and violet wildflowers (resembling Lupines or Irises) with lush green blades. Suspended on a complementary teal silk cord. The back has hand engraved signature.

Bold colors and artisanal enameling highlight a mid-century inspired design.
