Description :

Amazing, jeweler verified, investment-grade antique heirloom statement piece - 18K yellow gold frame, cobalt enamel & hand-painted miniature portrait brooch by the famous Italian manufacturer, Corletto. It doubles as a pendant and showcases exceptional post-WWII Italian craftsmanship.

Gemstone - Diamond Accents: If you look closely at the painting, her hair ornament, earring, and necklace are subtly studded with genuine rose-cut or single-cut diamonds set right into the portrait surface.

The Framework: The miniature is encased in a solid 18-karat yellow gold bezel, bordered by an openwork filigree frame featuring rich cobalt/royal blue enamel scalloped motifs.

Design: Features a hand-painted portrait miniature, often identified as Madame Juliette Récamier. You can see a red mark over her shoulder, which appears to be the artist signature

Dual Function: Versatile piece designed to be worn as both a brooch and a pendant. The reverse side contains a traditional pin stem and a fold-down bail, allowing it to transition seamlessly from a statement brooch to a necklace pendant.

Origin: Produced in Italy, frequently attributed to the maker Corletto.

"CORLETTO": The maker's name is stamped on the back, in a curved format. This verifies the piece was designed by Oreste Giovanni Corletto's renowned workshop in Vicenza, Italy.
