Description :

This exquisite framed piece features intricate, hand-embroidered Asian silk art depicting two birds perched gracefully among blooming plum blossoms and bamboo stalks. Crafted with ultra-fine silk threads using master needlework techniques, the artwork showcases stunning multi-tonal color blending, directional layering, and incredible depth. The detailed embroidery includes a stitched red artist signature seal mark in the lower right corner. It is beautifully double-matted with a textured taupe border, highlighted by an inner decorative gilt fillet, and presented in an elegant gold-toned wooden frame.

Art detailing technique:

Ultra-Fine Silk Threads: The artisan splits a single strand of raw silk thread into microscopic filaments (sometimes dividing a standard thread into dozens of finer strands), which allows for extreme precision and painterly detail.

Master Needlework Techniques: Traditional East Asian embroidery (such as Su embroidery from China) relies on dozens of specialized stitches—such as random-stitch embroidery (乱针绣)—where threads are layered and blended at varying angles to create smooth gradients, realistic lighting, and soft textures on feathers, petals, and wood.

Directional Layering and Shading: By meticulously altering the direction, angle, and tension of the silk threads, artisans mimic the natural grain of bamboo, the rough texture of tree bark, and the soft, overlapping plumage of the birds.

Multi-Tonal Blending: Instead of flat blocks of color, threads of slightly different shades and hues are interwoven stitch by stitch, building up rich depth, dimensionality, and a luminous sheen characteristic of fine silk art.
